Al UIa Old Town, Al Ula
AlUla Old Town, also known as Al-Deira, is a hauntingly beautiful 12th-century settlement of mud-brick homes, winding alleys, and ancient market squares that was continuously inhabited until the 1980s. Recognised as a UNWTO Best Tourism Village, it stands as one of Arabia's most remarkable living time capsules, where centuries of trade, pilgrimage, and desert life are written into every stone and wall.
